The total volume of the Defcon 5 Ares backpack is 50 litres and is divided into one large main compartment and three smaller compartments in the front, which allows you to carry larger items such as tarp/tent or sleeping bag and also to clearly divide your other equipment into the smaller compartments. The compartments have several handy straps and mesh pockets on the inside.

The shoulder and hip straps are well padded and distribute the pressure very gradually over your body, because they are very adjustable the Ares backpack always fits well on your back! The back part is well ventilated, which makes it also very suitable for use in summer.

The Defcon 5 Ares backpack is water repellent, in heavy rain you can use the rain cover, which is processed in the bottom of the backpack. On the inside of the main compartment is a pocket in which you can put a drinking bag, so you can always take enough water with you! The outside is largely covered by the MOLLE attachment system, which allows you to attach smaller bags, pouches and other accessories as you see fit.
