The Defcon 5 Double Bivy Tent in Vegetato Italiano colour is a two-person bivouac bag designed to provide protection from rain and wind during the harshest weather conditions. Thanks to its robust design and hard-wearing materials, this bivy bag is approved for use by NATO.

The inner layer of this Double Bivy Tent from Defcon 5 is made of lightweight 75D nylon. The outer layer is made of 3-layer polyamide. Thanks to the taped seams and waterproof coating, this bivy bag is waterproof up to a water column of 5000 millimetres. The waterproof coating is also breathable. This helps to reduce condensation. This bivac is also equipped with multiple vents at the head end to minimise condensation. As all vents are fitted with mosquito netting, all unwanted insects are kept out.

Thanks to the arch poles at the head end, this bivouac offers a spacious feeling. As the poles are made of aluminium, they contribute to the light weight of this bivouac bag of around 2.3 kilograms.
