The Fallkniven DC4 is a compact grinding stone with two sides. One side is made of ceramic for the fine finish. The other side is a diamond sharpening stone (25 microns) for pre-sharpening. Together, the Fallkniven DC4 is a perfect stone for in your backpack so you never have to use blunt knives.

Fallkniven DC4: Sharpening even the hardest steel on the go

The ceramic stone is made of synthetic sapphire. The advantage of this material is that over time it does not lose its flat surface. This applies even more to the diamond side. Even knives made of extremely hard powdered steels can be worked with these very hard materials. The stone can be used dry and should be cleaned occasionally with warm water and a mild liquid soap. The stone may feel a little rough at first, but it will become smoother with use.

The leather case of the Fallkniven DC4 has a smooth front and a rough back. This back can be used as a sling.
