The compound gets its polishing effect from small particles of chromium oxide and aluminum oxide. This gives the Fällkniven ChrOx stropping compound an excellent sharpening effect and also gives a shiny finish after stropping your knife. An exact micron or grit is unfortunately not to be named. In this case, it is a fine compound that gives a mirror-like result.
The Fällkniven ChrOx stropping compound is biodegradable and non-toxic!
Place the compound on a leather strop and pull your knife several times over the strop. You'll see that your cut will be shiny and incredibly sharp!
