The BioFireknife is a combination of an outdoor knife and a Swedish FireSteel®.
The handle is made of coconut fibre combined with Bio plastic, 100% responsible and CO2 neutral.
The blade is made from 90% recycled Sandvik steel 12C27.
The Firesteel Scout incorporated into the handle produces sparks at a temperature of 2980 degrees.
The firesteel is replaceable and lasts approximately 3000 times.
This product is made of biobased plastic. With a view to a better future, Light My Fire will only be using bio-based plastic for the production of their products starting in 2019. Biobased' refers to materials made from biomass extracted from plant-based raw materials such as corn, sugar cane and cellulose. The biobased range can be recognised by the new colours of natural, soft, earthy and peaceful tones. In terms of packaging, 100% recyclable or reusable material has also been chosen.
