The Stormproof Sweetfire Strikeable Fire Starter has an extra strong igniting head (stormproof) and is made from a byproduct of sugar cane: called bagasse. This important ingredient is already used around the world as a sustainable biofuel.

The vegetable wax allows each match to burn for 7 minutes. Stormproof means that when wet, it can just burn. Even after it was dipped in water.

If the ironing surface and box get wet, the ironing surface still works, but must dry first so the surface is firm again. Until then, use the spare ironing surfaces in the box. If the matches are wet, dry them briefly before using.
